What to see at Canbulat Bastion and Museum
- The tomb of Canbulat Bey lies beneath the bastion, enclosed by iron railings; the present marble tomb dates from 1968.
- The museum shows Ottoman-period weapons, plates and wall tiles, the wooden tomb inscription of Kutup Osman, and archaeological finds.
- The bastion itself is Venetian, originally called the Arsenal.

- Canbulat Bey, bey of Kilis, falls in the Ottoman siege of Gazimağusa while attacking the Venetian Arsenal bastion, which is later named after him.
- 1968
- The original tomb is close to collapse, so a new one is built in Italian marble, and the museum opens on 1 August.
Visiting Canbulat Bastion and Museum
Allow about half an hour. The bastion is at the south-east corner of the walls of Gazimağusa (Famagusta). A car park is mapped about 50 m away, and no bus stop is mapped within about 500 m.
