What to see at Apostolos Andreas Monastery
- The spring at the heart of the monastery is said to have been struck from the rock by the Apostle Andrew, and it still flows where a chapel was built over it.
- The church dates from the 18th century, with a front added in the 19th, and was restored in a bicommunal project.
- The monastery stands near the tip of the Karpaz peninsula.

- A small chapel is built where the spring water was found, and the water still flows there.

- Part of the present monastery is built in the 18th century, and its outer front in the 19th.
Visiting Apostolos Andreas Monastery
Allow about an hour, after a long drive. The monastery is about 18.7 km east of Dipkarpaz, at the end of Manastır Yolu, the road east from Dipkarpaz. A car park is mapped about 100 m away, and no bus stop within about 500 m.
