What to see at Peace and Freedom Museum
- The museum stands in the house where Colonel İbrahim Karaoğlanoğlu, Major Fehmi Ercan and Private Mustafa Girgin fell on the night of 20 July 1974.
- It presents the 1974 Peace Operation with vehicles, artillery, uniforms, photographs and a documentary film.
- A monumental panel in the courtyard carries the names of the soldiers and civilians who fell.

- The Peace Operation begins at Yavuz Çıkarma Plajı, and the three men fall at the entrance of the house, which is serving as a headquarters.

- On the operation's second anniversary the house becomes the Peace and Freedom Museum.
Visiting Peace and Freedom Museum
Allow about half an hour. The museum is at Karaoğlanoğlu, near Alsancak, about 6.7 km east of Lapta, with the D.10 road passing beside it. A car park is mapped about 100 m away, and no bus stop within about 500 m.
